Jennifer A. Pline

Jennifer Pline joined HMC in 2005 as the Chief Trusts & Gifts Officer. In this role, she oversees over $1.0 billion in trust assets and non-cash gifts for Harvard, directing and implementing investment policy as well as managing Donor Relations and Tax/Accounting for all planned gifts made to Harvard University.
Prior to joining HMC, Ms. Pline worked for 18 years at Standish Mellon Asset Management (formerly Standish, Ayer & Wood, Inc.). Ms. Pline held positions as a research analyst, portfolio manager, head of the Short Duration Team and most recently, Director of Client Service. In that capacity, Ms. Pline oversaw and directed all client service activities for over $200 billion in fixed income assets and a team of 15 client service professionals. Ms. Pline was also a member of the Executive Management Committee, which set business strategy and policy for the firm.
Ms. Pline is a graduate of Boston College, where she also received her MBA. Ms. Pline serves on a number of boards and advisory committees and is a member of the Boston Committee on Foreign Relations and the Boston Economic Club.
